Palo Santo comes from the sacred tree Bursera Graveolens in Ecuador. It is completely natural and has not added any aroma, but the scent is natural. Palo Santo is made from dead and naturally fallen trees.
Palo Santo has been used by Inca Indians, shamans for thousands of years in various sacred ceremonies. Used to clean and remove bad energy in places, homes or people.
Used with advantage in meditation, deep concentration or healing. Also said to work well against mosquitoes, bumps, etc.
Light a Palo Santo to make sure it burns, then blow out the flame and pour the sacred smoke over those to be cleaned or put on fire-proof dishes. Extend your Palo Santo by dipping it in water, so you are absolutely sure it is off. Can be used several times.
SERFOR certified Palo Santo products
This Palo Santo comes from forests that are managed, authorised and certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (SERFOR) of Peru. Only Palo Santo trees and branches that have fallen naturally and remained on the land for at least 3 to 4 years are used. This way of harvesting does not harm nature and only wood with a rich aroma is used.
