Thistle oil is beneficial for those with oily skin and thinning hair (excellent for you with Scandinavian hair), and can be used as a nail oil.

Thistle oil is produced by cold-pressed thistle seeds and has a high content of linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is a fatty acid that is part of omega6 and helps the body form GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) and prostaglandins that help the skin to counteract wrinkles and slow down the aging of the skin. This oil is beneficially used on oily skin on the face, body, nails and hair and penetrates quickly into the skin.
Use:
Feel free to use the thistle oil as a moisturizer on a cleansed face or as a massage oil on the body as it can easily penetrate the skin. The thistle oil is also used in the hair and scalp to boost thin and damaged hair for growth and strengthening strands. It can also be used as a nail oil for preventive purposes against dry cuticles, cracks and split nails.
