Angel Phantom Quartz is a rare crystal that only forms in one area of Brazil, namely Minas Gerias. It is a crystal with many names and is an Amphibious Quartz that has naturally formed phantoms within itself due to various minerals enclosed in the crystal creating beautiful varying colors and patterns. The name of the crystal comes from both its properties of contact with angels, but also its appearance and internal pattern which in some cases can resemble angel wings or silk patterns.
Angel Phantom Quartz contains several minerals and substances such as Hematite, Limonite, Kaolinite and Quartz, as each piece contains varying amounts and combinations of these minerals, each crystal is unique and forms its own appearance and pattern. The most common crystals formed in this stone are Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Citrine, Rutile Quartz and Tourmaline.
