Amphibious quartz is an unusual form of quartz that forms near iron deposits, giving the crystal its beautiful appearance with pink, orange, white and red colors. The stone contains varying amounts of Quartz, Hematite, Limestone, Limonite and white Kaolinite which can be determined by the colors in the crystal.
