A Gua Sha is a flat tool, made of various semi-precious stones, used to massage the face, for centuries. It increases blood circulation and cleanses the lymphatic system, which in turn increases the production of new skin cells and the body's energy flow.
Use: Use Gua Sha with light pressure over the face, ascending to follow the lymph flow. Repeat each movement three to five times before moving on to the next area of your skin.
* Jaw line and chin: Slide the tool upwards from the middle of the chin out to the earlobe to
contour the jaw.
* The boiler: Start in the middle of the boiler and divide the boiler into three sections and slide the tool
outwards. .
* Cheek: Start at the nose and work upward in a sweeping motion along the cheeks and
cheekbones, move outward toward your ears.
* Under-eye: Start in the inner corner of the eye and slide outwards to the temple.
* Eyebrow: Slide upwards along the brow bone - go inside and out.
* Lips: Slide your lips back and forth about five times for a full effect.
* Neck: Divide the neck into four areas and scrape each section from the bottom up.
** Clean in lukewarm water with a little soap.
