History & Facts

Beryl is a hard material of beryllium aluminum silicate and consists of a group of gemstones such as Morganite (pink), Heliodor (yellow), Emerald (green), Aquamarine (blue) and Bixbit (red). Beryl itself is colorless but has been given its shades by the fused gemstones.

The name comes from the Greek word Beryllos and was used as a collective name for all green gemstones, but then changed to name only this crystal. The stone has several finds and has been found in, among other places USA, Brazil, Australia, Norway and the Czech Republic.

*Stones are a natural material and can therefore vary in shape, shade and clarity. Natural cracks and irregularities may also occur. Please note that the photo is a product pictuor and that the stones vary.
