Ulexite is a rare stone that is also called "Boronatro Calcite", "Borkalk" and "TV stone" after its optical properties that capture light that reflects the inside of the stone. It was first identified by the German chemist Georg Ludwig Ulex in the 19th century, after whom the stone is also named.
