History & Facts
Unicorn stone is a relatively newly discovered stone that has so far only been found in Madagascar near the city of Morovato in the year 2021. The stone is named after its mysterious colors that are reminiscent of the magical being the unicorn. It consists of a combination of Lepidolite, Pink Tourmaline, Smoky Quartz and Clevelandite, some also contain Lithium compositions. It thus belongs to the stone families Quartz, Tourmaline and Mica.
As the Unicorn stone has only been found in one country and in limited quantities, this is a rare and sought-after stone.
